– Cardiff Half

THE RACE:  Cardiff Half Marathon, October 13th 2012

Amelia and Peter completed the route in 2 hours, 12 minutes and 47 seconds creating 10 illustrations long the way in response to the catalyst of exercise, environment, the throng of people and the Words of Inspiration’ garnered from our Twitter followers. (become a follower @Runtodraw)

As before, words of inspiration were collated via twitter (#Runtodraw) and added to the scroll on Race Day, out of Amelia’s sight. Thanks to Becca, Grace and Matt for their contributions.

Here are some of the images from Cardiff Half Marathon 2012 along with the words that helped inspire them:

– “BE DEADLY”

– “A PACK OF BLESSINGS BE UPON THY BACK”

– “CHOOSE JOY”

– “SIGNPOSTS”

– “FISH”

– “AN ADVENTURESS”

– ‘IN CHINA, THE FUTURE IS BEHIND US AND THE PAST IS IN FRONT”

– ‘MAKE IT LAST’

P*A*St , in rehearsal for the Cardiff Half Marathon 14.10.12 and for Cardiff Design Festival, ‘Ran to Draw’ amongst Cardiff’s busiest Saturday-shoppers to mixed acclaim!

They traversed the busy shopping streets of Queen Street and the Hayes, drawing as they went, on the way to the ‘Doodle Noodle’ project taking place in the Royal Arcade.

Needing to make repairs to their drawing machine, they also made a trip to the Hardware Store at the sensorially rich Cardiff Indoor Market, before heading down to Cardiff Bay and the Pierhead building for the ‘Art For The Mothers Of Africa’ exhibition.
